Q: What's the difference between the South Pole and the North Pole experience?
A: The Antarctica is a vast continent with an area around 1.5 times the size of China. Due to the influence of the Westerlies its environment and climate remain relatively independent. The earth's southernmost South Pole can reach temperatures of -30 degrees or even lower. Unlike Antartica, the North Pole is not a continent, but offers a more abundant flora and fauna than its southern counterpart.
